Responsibilities:

• Lead a team to manage and implement quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure a high food safety standard
• Liaise with the Group Quality Assurance Department and work closely to update food safety and quality management system subject to local and international food safety regulations and standards
• Develop new product guidelines, Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs) and training materials to local and overseas markets
• Implement, review and update operation processes, controls and documentation procedures for both local and overseas markets
• Identify compliance/safety risk and provide advice with actionable plans to ensure the standards and customer satisfaction are fulfilled
• Conduct inspection, on-site monitoring, food sampling and audit for stores
• Provide food hygiene training to frontline staff
• Monitor the performance of operations and suppliers if requested
• Evaluate, audit and track suppliers’ performance in terms of production process, hygiene quality and timely inspection
• Undertake ad-hoc project as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Food Science or any related disciplines
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance field, preferably in food retail or manufacturing industry
• Familiar with Quality Management System, HACCP and ISO 22000
• Knowledgeable in Food Quality audits, International safety regulation SOP development and product standards
• Strong in the HK food regulation and international food safety management system
• Self-motivated, well-organized and a good team player
• Good interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
• Good command of English and Chinese
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Chinese word processing
