Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the completion service requests with targeted results in compliance with Company’s Policies and Statutory Ordinances by monitoring work quality of on-site Technician and external contractors, making decision on variation and final work approval.
  • Product the list based on the final work inspection results ensuring rectification actions are completed by related parties.
  • Identify and recommend appropriate contractors from established contractor list based on the site investigation report prepared by Technician and the T&C after negotiation
  • Ensure all activities safely undertaken in accordance with the Company’s policies as well as statutory ordinances
  • Provide continuous review of contractors list with Senior Management based on the contractors’ track records, quality and cost of the work
  • Develop the maintenance strategies and policies in contributing the smooth operations of the team
  • Provide guidance and technical advice to the team and contractors ensuring the work quality and service standard
  • Enable the project sponsors to justify the investment project by providing technical advice on lead time, estimated cost and qualified contractor list
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks per management requested

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or above in Engineering or Building Services
  • Possess a minimum of 8 years maintenance experience in F&B / Food Chains / Retail industry with at least 3 years supervisory experience
  • Experience in Properties / facilities Management is an advantage
  • Holder of Grade A Registered Electrical Worker will be an advantage but not a must
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Detail minded with strong organization skill
  • Experiences in coach and motivate a team
  • Strong in multiple tasks under a tight schedule and rapidly changing environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good at communication in both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Able to operate Microsoft software applications

Mr. LAU Tat Man, Daren

Mr. LAU Tat Man, Daren, has been the Chief Executive Officer of Tam Jai International Co. Limited (“TJI” or “the Company”) since 2018. He is responsible for shaping the growth path of the Company, leading strategic initiative and managing overall business development and operation. Under his leadership, TJI has been dedicated its resources to strengthen the market positioning, enhance operation standards and efficiencies, develop innovative products as well as improve overall food safety and food quality. The Company’s two brands, TamJai Yunnan Mixian and TamJai SamGor Mixian, successfully expand their footprint beyond Hong Kong and will set up their overseas stores in Shenzhen and Singapore respectively in 2020.

Mr. Lau has over 30 years of management experience in food and beverage industry in Hong Kong and Asia Pacific Region. Prior to joining the Company, He had held senior management positions in premier corporations including Café de Coral Corporation, SSP Group Ltd., TGI Friday’s and The Peninsula Hotel, Hong Kong.

Mr. Lau holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and was placed on the Dean’s list.
