Tam Jai International & BGCA Collaborate to Advocate for Mental Health and Wellness
Tam Jai International Presents: “Inside Out 2” Charity Screening

(Hong Kong — 11 July 2024) Tam Jai International Co. Limited (“TJI”, “Tam Jai International”, or the “Company”, and together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”; HKEX stock code: 2217), one of the leading and renowned restaurant groups in Hong Kong, collaborated with The Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong (BGCA) for the first time to host Tam Jai International Presents – “Inside Out 2” Charity Screening. Held on 5 July 2024, the event brought together Tam Jai International’s employees, BGCA’s staff, and foster parents from Small Group Homes for a complimentary screening of “Inside Out 2”. The screening aimed to provide a relaxing experience, while raising awareness about mental health and promoting wellness. The event was graced by Mr Lau Tat Man, Daren, Chairman, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Tam Jai International, and Professor Lam Ching-man, MH, Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee of BGCA.
Mr Lau Tat Man, Daren, Chairman, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Tam Jai International said, “I am pleased to collaborate with BGCA on this charity screening, providing Tam Jai International’s employees and students with an opportunity to be among the first to enjoy this entertaining and educational movie. I hope it serves as an inspiration for participants to prioritise mental health and to extend their care to their loved ones. Professor Lam Ching-man, MH, Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee of BGCA said, “I am delighted to have collaborated with Tam Jai International for this event. The charity screening was divided into two parts. The first screening provided an opportunity for Tam Jai International employees to unwind and enjoy the movie together, while also emphasising the importance of mental health and wellbeing.
Themed “Mental Health Awareness – Learning Emotional Management”, the second screening aimed to engage BGCA members from Primary 6 to Secondary 2 to watch the movie. Following the screening, BGCA’s social workers organised a series of discussions and activities on growth and mental health for the students at their respective service centres.
