Responsibilities:
- Make sure maintenance service requests are completed correctly and safely and according to company policies and laws by checking the work of technicians and contractors and approving results
- Prepare a list based on the final inspection results, ensuring that rectification actions are made by the responsible parties
- Identify and recommend appropriate contractors from an established list based on the site investigation report prepared by the technician and the terms and conditions established after negotiation
- Conduct continuous reviews of the contractor list with senior management, considering the contractors’ track records, quality, and cost of work
- Develop maintenance strategies and policies to support the smooth operation of the team
- Provide guidance and technical support to the team and contractors to ensure high work quality and service standards
- Enable project sponsors to justify investment projects by providing technical advice on lead times, estimated costs, and a list of qualified contractors
- Undertake ad-hoc project as assigned
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or above in Engineering or Building Services
- A minimum of 8 years’ maintenance experience in F&B / Food Chains / Retail industry with at least 3 years supervisory experience
- Experience in Properties / Facilities Management is an advantage
- Holder of Grade A Registered Electrical Worker will be an advantage but not a must
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skill
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight schedules and in rapidly changing environments while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in coaching and motivating a team
- Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Good command of English and Chinese
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Chinese word processing
