Responsibilities:

Business Partner

  • Works closely with Group Supply Chain, including Central Kitchen to understand business needs and provides financials insights and guidance in support of the business planning, decision-making and business performance monitoring
  • Oversees the Group Supply Chain finance operations in compliance with group standard and policy, statutory compliance and provides best practices and tools for efficiency and effectiveness improvement

Finance Operation

  • Lead the team to ensures timely and accurate submission of financial reports and management account packages
  • In charge issuance of statutory report
  • Oversees finance operation function in relation to Group Supply Chain and compliance to all applicable accounting standards and other GAAP
  • Monitors daily accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness related to general ledger
  • Oversees balance sheet items reconciliation
  • Oversees fixed asset register
  • In charge in yearly audit and quarterly review exercise for business unit
  • Constructs and monitors finance operation and business unit standard operation procedure (“SOP”) enhancement process

Risk management and internal controls

  • Implementation of efficient internal control systems to mitigate risks

Tax

  • Implementation efficient tax planning mechanism to support the Group development plan
  • Timely comply the tax submission

Process enhancement

  • Reviews and enhances finance related policies and procedures (“P&P”) and SOP from time to time to align with the Group development
  • Participates as Key Users role in the Group systems revamp and enhancement projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
  • Professional Accounting Qualification
  • A minimum of 8 years in accounting experience with at least 2 years of managerial experience in sizable teams
  • Proactive, independent, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
  • Experience in system implementation
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues across different levels
  • Strong command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Food and beverage and retail industry experience is preferred
